Good find in a small town. We got the sweet potato fries and the dipping sauce was OUTSTANDING! A butter rum sauce. Paired with the sweet potatoes was awesome! Good beer selection and burger was good too!

Very popular pub in Effingham with a major relocation in the works. Very busy evening with the Queen of Hearts contest drawing. One can learn everything to know about a pub kitchen by the soups it serves. The chicken fricassee soup was quite good, although served too hot. Hearty soup, but not heavy. Big selection of sandwiches, and the turkey club made a good choice. Crispy bread, light mayo, green lettuce and fresh tomato. Turkey helping a bit on the skimpy side. Side of cut fries quite good. I appreciate that they come unsalted. This is a nice place and I see why it is beloved. Service was quick, careful, and cordial. Happy to recommend.

We were traveling south and stayed over in Effingham on a Sunday so decided to come here and grab a bite and order some food and drinks while watching a Packer game. Since we are nonalcoholic drinkers most of the time can only comment on the lemonade which was pretty good. We pulled into the place and it appeared packed but it has nooks and cranny's and we were seated in a heated outdoor enclosed patio. Not sure if that makes sense lol. An employee made sure we had the right game on our tv. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We had our servers switched half way through our stay and the one going off duty stopped by on her way out to make sure we had every we needed. We started with a couple of appetizers of steak bites and 6 chicken wings. They have a variety of wings and we opted for the buffalo wings. They came with blue cheese or ranch dressing and fresh carrot and celery sticks. The steak bites were good, the wings awesome and the blue cheese dressing we ordered was very good. After we ordered we noticed there was a wing special of 25 wings for $25. I'm not sure two of us can eat that many but if we come back here we would definitely have a wing meal. We took a break and then ordered the foot long Chicago style hot dog and two smashed cheeseburger sliders with French fries. Everything we ate was amazing. The buns were all toasted. French fries were extra crispy without asking. Great bar food and we are already planning our stop in April on our way home.

Decent food, large quantities. Very busy place on a Saturday night. For sure amlocal cultural experience.

Ate here for lunch. My friend ordered the pretzel sticks and a foot long hot dog and tots. He said all were good. I had a pulled pork sandwich with fries. Very good!! Lots of meat on the sandwich and a good helping of fries and tots. Would recommend this place for good food. Service was great. Food arrived in a timely manner.

Stopped in to the Gabby Goat for an early dinner on a Monday evening, and had a great meal. Brittany took excellent care of us. She had good recommendations, and was really friendly. We ordered: - B.B. Burger - bacon, blue cheese, burger, on toasted sourdough. So rich and delicious, there was a ton of blue cheese. - magnificent mule hot dog - (1/2 size) spicy peppers, tomatoes, onion, mustard. It made me feel like I was at a baseball game. - chili tot dog - (full size) homemade chili, tots, cheese, onions on top of a foot long hotdog with a toasted bun. This thing was massive and delicious. - tots - perfectly crispy - cucumber salad - tart, refreshing, satisfying - Mac n' cheese - good, but nothing special Good prices, friendly service, and delicious food.

Steak bites and Cajun veggies. Being a southern boy I wasn't expecting much but it was actually really good! The server was very nice and helped with this great selection. I had came for the steaks but they are only Wed and Friday. I just didn't look closely enough on help.... It said that and I missed it. All and all seems like a place I will return when in the area.

it seems too be something that started off small and caught on in a big way. Which is your first clue the food and service is outstanding. The reason I say this is that it seems they kept adding on to the original so there is plenty of seating. for everyone to experience this place. It's your upscale bar food that keeps you coming back for more. Just remember parking in the rear and main entrance in the rear

The tacos were so good. My son got fish tacos and I got the brisket tacos. The service was amazing even though it was busy for a Tuesday night. There is tons of parking too.

Needed breakfast on a long road trip and this was along the way. We ordered the pancakes with bacon and their special French toast. Everything was delicious and the bacon was perfectly crispy. We also tried three flavored syrups - peach, raspberry, strawberry. They were good but very sweet and definitely a syrup and not a fruit purée.
